I ordered 2 hand guards one was fine the other was incomplete missing screws product is nice looking but not happy that parts were missing
It's great. It looks good and seems to be made very well. I love the lockup and style.
I was pleased with the 10 inch handguard. It is a very good looking design. The finish was excellent with no sharp edges or burs. The barrel nut seemed to be of good quality. I would have given 5 stars, but the alignment tabs were spaced a little too far apart causing the handguard not to automatically center on the upper receiver with side to side movement which caused the rails to be misaligned at the transition from upper to handguard.. I manually centered it, and it stayed centered after I tightened the bolts. Shipping time was very fast.
Disappointed that the vent holes on the rail are diagonal ovals instead of circles like the real mk12 rail, the included barrel nut is almost the same as the real kac barrel nut except the rail bolts onto this nut using only 2 allen screws on the sides, resulting in the barrel easily flexing up and and down inside the hand-guard. If they had just threaded the bottom mounting whole on the barrel nut and included a third allen **** for the bottom then i think this rail couldve been usable, but as it stands the rail shifts vertical position with just finger pressure making it unusable.
The Rails look great and for the price they cant be beat in my opinion. The website said 2-6 days for shipping since it was coming from a US warehouse, but it ended up taking about two weeks, including weekends. So temper your shipping time expectations. Other than that, everything looked and installed well.
I was disappointed that the fit for the dovetail had to be filed to fit. The red dot site fit perfectly on the RMR mount once the dovetail on the platform was filed down. The advertisement indicated this would fit, my gunsmith had to file the dovetail on the flatform to make it fit all the way.
Needed it for my SIG rifle because the upper and lower did not sit properly, this is my shocked face, I did have to shave a little bit off it but this little piece of rubber did the trick.
Very impressed. I ordered a whim thinking it was cheap cheap. Once again, Very impressed. Hard body metal, T markings on the rail and fits ROCK SOLID. I would definitely order again for another build
