The rail installed easily like a RIS II rail should, but it has the slightest which causes it to not perfectly align with my upper receiver. That is why I have to give it a 3. I tried everything but when I tighten everything down it still has that angle. For my purposes it is not a big deal because like I said it is just slightly off. As far as the rail itself goes it’s pretty great. Looks exactly like a RIS II. All the RIS products I have from Knights went on perfectly. Held up like it should at the range and actually took awhile for the rail to start getting warm from the heat of the barrel which was impressive and led to a pleasant range trip. I would definitely buy again for a cloneish build like I said it may have that same issue, hopefully not.

Ended up purchasing for my 18inch .50 Beowulf ar and I love it good quality and a really nice overall piece. I would love for them to make a 15 inch for an ar10 I plan on building

Put the black 12” on a rifle build and for the price it exceeded my expectations. Very solid, bolted up strait and the quality is 10 out of 10. I had a gas block issue and had to take the handguard off and it went back on no problems and was able to still torque down on the bolts just fine. Will buy again on next build.

it had some sands all over including inside thread and threads on 9, and 3 oclock were drill dirrerent depth. one was threaded all the way. one was not. and mk18 9.3 rail had extra anti-rotation washer but this one didn’t . mk18 rail was even better than real dd . but this one was off concentric too. finish was very rough. every bolt I could feel it was grinding agaist thread because of fine sand i could not remove from the inside of thread

In this price range you would be hard pressed to find a quad rail that both looks nice and is as rigid as this one. The machining is also flawless. For anyone wondering the barrel nut is Castle nut profile. And fits the DD barrel nut crow foot. Mine torqued to 55-ft lb DD spec, all other associated hardware torqued at 30 inch pounds. Rock solid. I have two of these. A 9.7 and a 12.7. both on mid-length uppers.

Kinda wierd how after I ordered i had suspicious activity in my account later, and I order parts online all the time and only happened after purchasing the rail, which doesn't fit properly without modifications...total bummer experience all around -10/10

Was a little on the fence at first, but turned out to be even better than I thought. 10.5 barrel with Dead air can.

You won’t be disappointed by the quality when you compare to the real article. A scratch hardness test of the hardcoat anodizing meets the milspec based and based on experience I expect the thickness finish is correct. Visually the handguard finish is comparable to an Anderson upper/lower with a chalky but consistent color.

Swapped out my RIS III MLOK rail with the Ohhunt MK18 handguard design on my DD DDM4V7 and I love the way it looks and feels. Definitely would recommend

The fit and finish on the rail is great. The Coyote Tan is very beautiful rail! I've never handled an DD rail, but this rail does the job! HOWEVER the barrel nut is very soft. I ruined mine trying to torque it to spec. Ended up buying an authentic DD barrel nut which worked great. That created down time, and another expense. Proceed with caution when torquing the supplied nut, and prepare for the worst. Other than that I'm very happy with the rail!
