Ordered a 9.6 inch Mk 18 quad rail for a beater pistol build and was pretty impressed with the quality. Also noticed a 50% reduction in group sizes. Can't isolate all variables, but I suspect the free float mounting system made a contribution. I talked myself into a couple 12.7's and saw similar results. Comparing these to my DD RIS III they are sturdier but much heavier than mlok. And, they don't heat up at the gas block like mlocks. If you don't need milspec or mlok, take a close look at the MK18. Get the barrel nut wrench if you buy. The DD tool won't help unless you replace the barrel nut, too.

If you are thinking about it go ahead. Quality far exceeded my expectations. Received fast!! You would be crazy to buy the real version after you see these.

Went together quickly amd easily feels like a real daniel handguard. Color is a little off and its slightly too shiny

The hand guard is well made, arrived as expected. When I opened the box a black hand guard was shipped. I ordered a coyote tan one. Did not have to time to return or exchange. Build quality is good.

I got the 12.7 with fps but needed the one without.

Friend mentioned about this mk18 handguard and im just overwhelmed how it looks and feels! Thanks to the installion video every new build turned out beautiful! Ive got a couple of builds done!! Love the aesthetics! Thanks Oohunt!

The Rails look great and for the price they cant be beat in my opinion. The website said 2-6 days for shipping since it was coming from a US warehouse, but it ended up taking about two weeks, including weekends. So temper your shipping time expectations. Other than that, everything looked and installed well.

The rail installed easily like a RIS II rail should, but it has the slightest which causes it to not perfectly align with my upper receiver. That is why I have to give it a 3. I tried everything but when I tighten everything down it still has that angle. For my purposes it is not a big deal because like I said it is just slightly off. As far as the rail itself goes it’s pretty great. Looks exactly like a RIS II. All the RIS products I have from Knights went on perfectly. Held up like it should at the range and actually took awhile for the rail to start getting warm from the heat of the barrel which was impressive and led to a pleasant range trip. I would definitely buy again for a cloneish build like I said it may have that same issue, hopefully not.

Ended up purchasing for my 18inch .50 Beowulf ar and I love it good quality and a really nice overall piece. I would love for them to make a 15 inch for an ar10 I plan on building
