Barren nut had to be milled to gat short gas tube in. Anit rotation points had to be removed to mate with upper, however it was not a mil spec receiver. Good vale for the money, fast shipping
Bought the 17" BLACK, not raw, not silver. 3.5 stars if that were an option.
Item arrived in good time, and seems to be good quality overall, sturdy, well finished, decent looking if a bit plain.
Two things of note on the downside. Item had two small ears/protrusions coming off the back end that lined up exactly with the main body of the upper and would not allow it to seat fully against said upper. At first I thougth they were supposed to be anti rotation tabs but too narrow to fit and too low on the body of the handguard for that purpose even if they had been wider than the rail base, which they werent.
As if it were intended for some VERY specific upper of which I have no knowledge and it certainly wasn't mentioned in the listing or package contents. Had to grind them off and refinish the aluminum prior to mounting.
Secondly, barrel nut seems to be nonstandard. Had to use a tool not intended for the purpose to seat and torque it. Bigger than 30mm and too small for 32mm crowfoot. Caliper measured it at 1.21" which is too small for a 1.25" which I don't have on hand anyway.
Don't know what the **** it is intended to be and almost bought a new barrel nut to just get it done. Once I made the necessary adaptations it seems to be a workable handguard overall, but I personally won't be ordering a second one. Any time I have to physically alter parts to make them work, I get tired of thoses parts in a hurry.
Heavy duty, well machined, and consistent color. Excellent hand guard.! My fourth handguard and all have been well-made with extra hardware.

Pretty nice overall, the fit is not so good. Even completely torqued down, the anti rotation lugs still have a lot of play allowing the rail to twist a bit. Would not recommend
First attempt to install found the wedge was to tall. I used a small pice of aluminum foil rolled in to a ball placed it under the pin lug inserted the pin removed the pin removed the aluminum ball. This gives me the best measurement for cutting the wedge. Grate fit, no more slop. Very happy with the product.
Great deal, best price I found by far! Light weight and it looks really good on the pistol. I'll be ordering in the future definitely checking out the raw aluminum. Great work guys 👍

You honestly can't beat this price for a very high quality rail. Every time I buy something that's inexpensive I always am leery something will be wrong but I get shocked every time when it is such a high quality on par with BCM and can't understand why companies like this can produce it for so cheap and the other ones charge so much
