17" Handguard Review

Both Handguard and barrel nut are both professional designed and machined. I was able to assemble the whole upper in 1.5 hours without any issues. Great quality and amazing workmanship!

Great rail, great price.

I was apprehensive of the quality of this thing given it’s less than $50. This is very similar to an Aero Enhanced Gen 2 handguard.

It’s super light, sturdy and at a great price point. The QD’s are anti-rotation and the diameter allows to run a tucked suppressor and an Adams arms piston kit, which is exactly what I did. If you cut your barrel nut to 0.85” you’ll have the perfect length for your piston kit. I have two of these now. I plan on buying more. I have no complaints. This rail is excellent.

Great Handguard

I ordered the large diameter handguard so I could take off the flash comp and **** on my suppressor with no problem. The inside diameter is big enough that the Rugged Obsidian 45 will slide right on and is centered. Very good handguard is not heavy and fits the hand perfectly. I would buy this again.

Fits perfectly to my Ruger SFAR 16in in .308Win

If you want to solve the problem on your Ruger SFAR with the gas block getting into contact with the original handguard, this might be the perfect solution.

1. Much more clearance to the gas block due to large diameter
2. Plenty of space for the gas regulator adjustment ****
3. Regulator settings are still very readable
4. More sturdy and stiffer than the original handguard
5. If you order a bit shorter like I did (13in), you might even save weight

Keep in mind you need to buy an AR-15 version of the handguard, the AR-10 won't fit as the SFAR is a small frame rifle, despite the large caliber.

Amazing handguard for larger muzzle devices.
