Had to shave down the pins under the pic rail to make fit flush, other than that.. perfect 👌

I was pleased with the 10 inch handguard. It is a very good looking design. The finish was excellent with no sharp edges or burs. The barrel nut seemed to be of good quality. I would have given 5 stars, but the alignment tabs were spaced a little too far apart causing the handguard not to automatically center on the upper receiver with side to side movement which caused the rails to be misaligned at the transition from upper to handguard.. I manually centered it, and it stayed centered after I tightened the bolts. Shipping time was very fast.

I’m normally a snob when it comes to my ARs, but was building a budget rifle for a friend. This worked perfectly, and arrived quickly and the finish was perfect. I would buy one again if I were to do another Budget bill.

First, the anti rotation tabs don’t work with the “slick side” upper receivers. If you don’t have a milspec upper then this may not fit correctly. However the external surfaces match the slick side receiver much better than milspec as you can see in the photos from other reviews compared to mine. For this reason I filed down the anti rotation tabs for it to fit properly, then used some aluminum black. Since this surface sits flush against the upper when installed you can’t tell anything has been done to it.
Second, either the hand guard or the barrel nut are very slightly off and at the end of the barrel this results in a mm or so of offset. Not something you’d ever notice unless looking for it.
Also the included washer doesn’t fit anywhere so it’s useless.

Besides these things it’s a solid hand guard and should last plenty long. Looks great too.

The handguard looks good. The price was decent. I am still gathering parts for this build and I haven’t installed it yet Keep up the good work

Pleased with this hand guard so far. Can’t beat the price compared to other named brand guards. Barrel nut threads appeared to be cut well, no issues threading and tightening barrel down. I did take some sand paper and roughed up the ridges inside the hand guard that clamp down on the barrel nut, may or may not help with securement. Gave it 4 stars only because the anti rotation tabs did not fit snugly against the upper receiver, other than that it feels tight no slop or movement. Now it’s just a matter of seeing how well it holds up. Don’t hesitate to get a good hand guard at a low price.

I got the 17" handguard because i have an 18" barrel. The item functions well, tightens down secure and I've had no problem with it so far. The IR signature on this finish is lackluster, and could likely be improved. But considering how competitive the price for this product is I really cannot complain.
